Summer Yoga Immersion, Nerja Spain 15th-21st June 2026
Join Kathryn Moynihan and Carmel Cronin for our Summer Yoga Retreat in the charming, beautiful Spanish town of Nerja in Mallorca. We are returning to the beautiful Villa Cortijo De Paco Romo again after an amazing experience last year here. In a time when we need our practice even more, you’ll feel all the benefits of the practice in one amazing place that has the sea, mountain, nature walks, sunshine and beautiful coastline.
The Yoga
Our retreat is open to all levels. Kathryn has been teaching for 18 years and Carmel over 20 years. Both Carmel and Kathryn have been running retreats since 2015. Kathryn is a yoga and meditation teacher (E-RYT 500 / YACEP) and 200hr Trainer and now runs the Bodhi Yoga School 200 hr Yoga Teacher Trainings in Ireland (with another partner) for the last six years. Carmel ran a successful yoga studio in Cork city (Yogazone) for ten years & is renowned for her therapeutic approach to teaching yoga for all levels. She especially loves teaching Yin yoga using the Traditional Chinese Medicine approach. Both Carmel’s and Kathryn’s classes are alignment style classes and suited for all levels. We both offer every class with a sense of humor and intensity. You will leave feeling the transformation benefits yoga can offer and learn more about the practice and yourself. If you like the combination of invigorating Vinyasa yoga, nourishing Yin yoga, supportive meditation along with lots of relaxation then this retreat is for you!
This retreat is designed to help you find greater balance, resilience, and an opportunity to deepen your practice. Over the course of our time together, we will immerse ourselves in nurturing practices, from rejuvenating yoga sessions to guided meditations and breathwork, all intended to renew your mind, body, and spirit. With ample time for self-reflection, community connection, and relaxation under the Spanish sun, this retreat offers the perfect setting to recharge and reconnect with yourself.

Accomodation

At Cortijo de Paco Romo, the Villa, once a farmer´s cottage, is now a high walled hillside Villa of unique complexity in design. The villa was built and owned by a Canadian/French entrepreneur family and used as a private residence for many years and now modernised but keeping the beautiful Andalusian/Moroccan style. Cortijo de Paco Romo Villa is very private but still close to the city center of Nerja.

There are a total of ten twin/double unique rooms, all with a unique decor in their own cosy theme. All rooms have a comfortable single or double bed with bedlinen in sateen-woven in lyocell/cotton which is very soft and pleasant to sleep in. Every room has an ensuite bathroom with toilet and shower. There is air conditioning in each room and hairdryers can be provided. We have the option of single supplement for some of the rooms so please let us know as soon as possible.

The Kitchen

We feel very excited to have the very experienced chef ‘Kathrin’ joining us again on our retreat for the week. She has a huge passion for raw & plant-based foods, yoga and holistic living. She was a big success last year on our retreat so we are looking forward to seeing what kind of amazing food she cooks up.
She will be offering a cooking workshop on our afternoon off if anyone would like to do a foodie class with her.We will be posting information about this workshop closer to the time.

13.00 – we do provide snacks at the retreat centre . However there is no official lunch as we want people to have time and space to explore.
